Mary Lucille Linville, a resident of Weed, passed away on July 25, 2008 at Shasta View Nursing in Weed, following a long illness. She was 87.
Mary was born in Gazelle, California on December 1, 1920. She was a lifelong resident of Siskiyou County.
Mary was a secretary for the Lumber and Sawmill Union. She was a member of Holy Family Alter Society.
Survivors include her husband, Alford Linville of Weed; two sons, Terry Linville of Medford, Oregon and Gary Linville of Weed; three daughters, Joyce Miller of Weed, Margaret DeBortoli of McCloud and Luanne Hemmingsen  of Crescent City; two sisters, Agnes Stover of Sacramento and Helen Moore of Weed; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Blankenship.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held this Thursday, July 31 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Weed. Burial is at Winema Cemetery in Weed.
Arrangements were made by Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel.
