Alma Victoria Zan passed away peacefully on Sunday April 19, 2009.
Born in McCloud on June 8, 1925 to Maria and Charles Borgnis she was a lifelong resident of Southern Siskiyou County.
Alma was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society where she was involved with many charitable activities. 
She loved to crochet and play games but was always happiest when she was with her large family.
She married Angelo Zan on October 24, 1942 and the rest of her life was devoted to her family.
Alma was preceded in death by her mother, Maria; father, Charles; and sister, Esther Young.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Angelo; her son, Dennis and his wife Cathy; her daughter, Marcia Elizondo and her husband David; her son, Patrick and his wife Sandy; her son, David and his wife Debbie; and her sister, Nellie Del Nero of Weed. Alma also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 2 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Mount Shasta at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a memorial fund for donations in her name with the Sutter VNA Hospice, 1836 China Gardens Drive Suite 130,   Roseville, CA 95661.

A Celebration of Life for Ona A. Landers will be held this Sunday, May 3 at 1 p.m. in the Scout Hall at Hoo Hoo Park in McCloud.
It is a potluck so bring a dessert or beverage and favorite story to tell.
