It was mud, sprinkles and cold for the Weed track team on their recent trip to Burney. Though the  marks were not up to their usual standards, the young athletes competed well.

In the JV division, both  the girls and boys teams placed third overall, with the girls being outpointed by   Trinity and Loyalton.
The boys team was outscored by both Trinity and Quincy.

In the Varsity Girls division, Lauren Vilcheck threw the discus 58'2", improving her previous mark.  In the girls JV division, Freshman Jessica Gardner ran a personal best in the 200 meters, and Cheyenne Smith ran a personal best in the 400 meters, with both girls finishing 6th overall.
