Web update: With the Mt. Shasta Ski Park closed because of a power outage, the scheduled North Division I high school ski and snowboard races were postponed on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. Results are posted for Jan. 15 ski slalom and snowboard giant slalom.

Two weeks into the North Division I high school race season, boys snowboard appears to be the most competitive event in the division as four teams are all within 47 points of each other.
The unofficial standings after two races show Etna first in the boys snowboard with 347 points, followed by Mount Shasta (326), Yreka (315) and Weed (300).
Mount Shasta racers took three first places out of four during the races held Jan. 15, 2010 at the Mt. Shasta Ski Park.
The races scheduled for Jan. 23 were postponed while the Ski Park waits to get back up and running following the power outage that resulted from the storm system that hit the area Jan. 19.
The next race on the regular schedule is Friday, Jan. 29 at the Ski Park.
