We put out a call for readers' favorite Super Bowl party recipes, and Corkey Addcox of Mount Shasta sent in two.

Easy Super Bowl recipes

8 ounces cream cheese
18.5 ounces chili without beans
18.5 ounces refried beans

Combine and heat until boiling. Serve with chips. Also works as “glue” in tacos.

1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
2 cups cooked chicken breasts, diced; or two 12-ounce cans chicken (or try tuna)
2 small celery stalks, small dice
1 medium apple (Granny Smith) diced
1/3 cup plumped raisins (or try frozen cranberries cut in half)
Salt and pepper

Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and mustard. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over salad. Makes six servings; 188 calories.
