Norman Eugene Rosenbalm passed peacefully on February 11, 2011 with family by his side at age 74. He will be joining his parents, sis, aunts and uncles, and his beloved wife Erna, who he has missed for the last 14 years.

He will be forever loved by the ones he left behind – three daughters, three sons-in-law, and five grandchildren – Denise and Bob Martin, son Scott of South San Francisco, California; Deanna and Don Burkett, son Jeremy of Reno, Nevada and daughter, Lindsey “Magoo” Burkett of Foster City, California; Dale Ann and Russell Powers, daughter Stephanie and son Michael of Rio Vista, California; and numerous family and friends.

Norman was born in Sigourney, Iowa, on October 23, 1936. He grew up in San Francisco, California and worked as a butcher for 15 years at Del Monte Meat Company.

In 1978 he moved his family to beautiful Mount Shasta, working at the Agricultural Inspection Station until retiring in 1993.

He had a passion for golfing with friends and is now reunited to play for eternity.

A mass will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Mount Shasta.
