As of Tuesday afternoon, nearly 200 inches of snow was measured at the top of Douglas, and more than 100 inches were at the base. In Mount Shasta city, a whopping 46.5 inches fell over last week, keeping snowplows and shovelers busy. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning, which predicts three to five feet of snow to fall at elevations 6,000 feet and above between now and Thursday night.
