Lani Kay Welborn, 66, formerly of Weed, passed
away on Monday, April 11, 2011 surrounded by
her beloved family.

She was born on July 18,
1944 in San Diego, CA the daughter of Dwight
& Mary (Crozier) Guillotte. She moved to Weed,
CA in 1960 where she met and married Coy Welborn.

This marriage was blessed with 2 daughters, Wendy Lyn Welborn of Corvallis, OR
and Penny Ann Fish of Sun Prairie, WI. Lani enjoyed being with
family and friends, but got her greatest enjoyment out of being a
grandmother to the "lights of her life" her 3 grandsons.

In her spare time she enjoyed numerous hobbies, including, gardening, knitting,
crocheting and stamping. She was a volunteer with the AT&T
Pioneers, which made care packages for the troops in Iraq and
Afganistan, and was part of the "Elevator Gang" at the UW football
games.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Lyn Welborn (Derek
Horejs) and Penny (Art) Fish; her beloved grandsons, Andrew, Jamie
and Austin; numerous cousins and other relatives. Lani was preceded
in death by her father, mother and step-father, Harold Chaney.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials
