Adele Margaret Gerard passed away on Aug. 11, 2011 at 90 years of age, in Kona, Hawaii, peacefully, in faith and with family close. She was a gracious and strong woman. We are glad to know that God is holding her close to his bosom for eternity.

“Courage does not always Roar. Sometimes it’s the quite voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow.” We are
grateful for her endurance and that she brought so much life into our family in so many ways.

She and her husband Jack of more than 50 years lived their working lives in Mt Shasta CA where she contributed to the community in many ways, including; the blood bank, member of Beta Sigma Phi
and working for the Dept of Motor Vehicles. They are survived by son Greg, grandson and granddaughter; Jefferson and Tammy Gerard - Perillo, seven grandchildren and many former students throughout
the years at Mt Shasta High School, where Jack taught wood shop.

As ONE they touched the lives of many in very positive ways. Adele moved to Hawaii to be with family after Jack passed. Her faith in Christ was always important to her as was her mental acuity which she keep to the end.

A funeral mass will be held at St Michaels Church in Kailua Kona on Alii Drive at 10 a.m. Saturday 8/20, with a gathering time before and after the service. In addition, a mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Oct 26th, and a luncheon will follow for private interment later.
