Between the two of them, the Dunsmuir High School and College of the Siskiyous football teams scored 154 points during victories this weekend.

-- Dunsmuir won at Big Valley Friday night, 84-48, improving its record to 6-1 in the Evergreen League and 8-1 overall.

-- The host Eagles turned out the lights on Shasta’s Knights quickly and completely Saturday, boosting their record to 5-3 with a 70-7 win in the nonconference game at Herschel Meredith Stadium.
Sophomore running back Taylor Cox rushed for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead an Eagle ground game that finished with 469 net yards and 7 touchdowns.
Christian Reyes had 17 carries for 135 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Two of quarterback Lewis Larson’s 4 pass completions went for touchdowns, a 45 yarder to Cole Williams and a 20 yarder to Kyren Watts.
Receiver Clay Cavender also threw one pass that went for a 24 yard touchdown to Kenny Spencer.
Pat Chase scored on a 12 yard run near the end of the half and finished with 9 carries for 36 yards.
Larson had 7 rushes for 27 yards and a touchdown.
Siskiyous led 21-0 after one quarter, 56-0 at half time, and 70-0 after three quarters.

-- Mount Shasta lost at Durham Friday night, 49-0.

-- Weed's JV Cougars defeated Etna in a JV-only contest Friday night in Weed, 28-0.
