Sandra Kay Gassaway, a resident of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on January 14, 2012 at the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She was 62 years old.

Sandra was born on September 17, 1949 to Orrell and Elsie Curtis of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Sandra was a member of the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church of Grants Pass. She loved her family dearly and doted on her grandchildren. Her favorite hobby was cooking.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Ross Gassaway of Grants Pass, Oregon; daughter, Michelle Weston of Gazelle, California; daughter, Tracy Swartz of Cottonwood, California; brother, Larry Curtis of Roseville, California; brother, David Curtis of St. Louis, Missouri; brother-in-law, Grant Gassaway of Mount Shasta, California; sister, Elizabeth Stevens of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kathy Gassaway of Mount Shasta, California; grandchildren, Cammie Timmons, Tyler Swartz, Sandra Weston, Sarah Weston; and great-grandchild, Kelsie Timmons.

There will be a funeral service for Sandra on Saturday, January 21 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 812 Lassen Lane in Mount Shasta. Sandra will be interred in Mt. Shasta Memorial Park.

Arrangements are in the care of Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel.
