Olga Anna Galletti passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the age of 82, after an extended illness. She was a native of Mount Shasta, California and a 55 year resident of Gilroy, California.

Olga was a lifelong educator who received her teaching degree from Holy Names College. She taught in the Oakland School District before moving to Gilroy, where she spent the rest of her career teaching at Glenview Elementary School.

One of Olga’s greatest loves in life was running into her former students and hearing about their accomplishments.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Vincent Galletti of Mount Shasta; sister, Irene Crinnion and brother-in-law, Edmund Crinnion of Piedmont.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Stephen Crinnion, Jodie Dailey, Vincent Crinnion, Katie Fahrner, James Crinnion, and their spouses; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a large part of their lives and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in her name to St. Mary’s School in Gilroy to carry on her passion for education.
