The Meals on Wheels auxillary is looking for help moving and storing a large donation recently received from Home Depot in Red Bluff.

MOWA founder Dawn Fazende said the program is the beneficiary of $8,000 to $9,000 worth of goods, including a 60x80 inch pallet of small appliances, two pallets of gardening pots and eight washer and dryer sets.

While Fazende is grateful for the donation, she said she needs help from someone (or several someones) with trucks large enough to pick up the shipment. She’s also looking for somewhere to store the load until MOWA can figure out how to distribute the donations.

If you can help, call Fazende at (530) 926-1762.
