Joe David Pollock, a resident of Lake Shastina, California, passed away on July 12, 2012 at his home, after a valiant battle against brain cancer. He was 54 years old.

Joe was born in Bakersfield, California on April 19, 1958 to Joe and Nancy Pollock.

Joe was a very skilled carpenter, could repair almost anything, and worked in building maintenance.

He was a devoted member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church of Lake Shastina, and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Joe dearly loved his family, and was especially fond of his three cats.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Pollock of Lake Shastina, California; son, David Pollock, currently serving in the US Army; daughter, Christina Pollock of Ridgecrest, California; grandchildren, Aaron and Connor Pollock; parents, Joe and Nancy Pollock of Kingman, Arizona; and brothers: Roger Pollock of Kingman, Arizona; Daniel Pollock of Manteca, California; Steven Pollock of Henderson, Nevada; and Jeffrey Pollock of Kingman, Arizona.

There will be a memorial service for Joe on Saturday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, 2608 Highway 97, Weed, California.
