Harold Kuiper passed away on October 25, 2012, four hours after he reached age 102; one year after the death of his wife of 79 years, Connie; and 12 hours after singing over and over, “Jesus Loves Me” to the hospice nurse.

He was attended by his children Peter, Mary and Michael; and granddaughter, Kimme. He is also survived by two children, Karen of Ashland, Oregon and Ellen of Evergreen, Colorado; and 65 offspring.

Harold was born on October 25, 1910. He was a special ed teacher and principal.

He was known for his strong work ethic, fervent yet questioning faith, and unusual sense of humor.
