Mary Lou Anderson entered into her final rest on September 16, 2012.
Mary Lou was born in McCloud, California to Clinton Brinser and Effie (Loney) Brinser on November 20, 1927. She moved to Rio Vita during her high school years, graduating from Rio Vista Joint Union High School in 1946.
She married her love and partner in life, Earl Anderson, in August of 1947. Together they raised three children. She lived on their ranch in the Montezuma Hills for most of their married life, raising sheep and wheat.
She was a member of the Congregational Church of Rio Vista, a Blue Bird leader, and 4-H leader. She enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling with her husband and children.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Clinton Brinser.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Irwin Anderson; sister, Bonnie Brinser-Rose; children, David (and Suzie) Anderson, Deborah Workman, Carol (and Steve) Hoffman; grandchildren, Peter (and Emily) Gollinger, Jenna (and Trevor) Holly, Dave (and Sherry) Workman, Rose, Workman; and four great-grandchildren.
No public services will be held.
