Albert James Brunello, a lifelong resident of McCloud, California, passed away at home on November 14, 2012. He was 66 years old.

Albert was born in McCloud on October 6, 1946 to Antonio and Rena Brunello. He was a master mechanic, working for the railroad for 38 years.

Albert was actively involved in his community, serving as the fire chief; and was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gold mining and tinkering in his garage.

Albert is survived by his wife, Mona Brunello of McCloud; daughter, Jennifer Brunello of Dunsmuir; son, Stacy Long of McCloud; sister, Rosemary Cary of McCloud; and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial mass was held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in McCloud on Monday, November 26.
