Christmas craft faire -- Weed's Old Fashioned Christmas Craft Faire, Friday, Nov. 30 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Weed Mercantile Mall, 590 Main Street. Feature a variety of artists and baked goods. Friday includes tree lighting in Cougar Park at end of Main Street at 7 p.m.

Holiday craft fair -- 16th annual Country Christmas Craft Fair, Friday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., College of the Siskiyous gym, Weed.

Friday's admission: $3 admission only; $10 with pasta dinner. Includes pasta, salad, bread and drink. Live entertainment by Tom Scott and Leslie Swift.

Saturday's admission: cash donation or two cans of food per person to be given to the Siskiyou Food Assistance Program. Includes Santa and Mrs. Clause visit, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; live entertainment at 9 a.m. by Tom Scott and Leslie Tift followed by Berryvale Christmas Fiddlers; Kiddie Corner and concession stand.
