Denzi Spelzini, a resident of Mount Shasta, California, passed away on April 16, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Mount Shasta, with his daughters by his side. He was 90 years old.

Denzi was born in McCloud, California on October 16, 1922. He was a lifelong resident of Siskiyou County.

Denzi was the owner of Spelzini’s Mt. Shasta Liquor Store for over 60 years. He was still working at the store up to the time of his death. He was known as a great bowler in his time.

Denzi was a veteran of the US Army Corps serving during World War II.

Survivors include his daughters, Denise Spelzini of Sacramento and Nordeen Spelzini Vader (and Doug) of Mount Shasta; sister, Dolores Spelzini of Mount Shasta; and his favorite companions, Bella and Nala.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Spelzini.

At Denzi’s request, no services will be held.
