Arlene Ruth Nelson Baldi went to her eternal home on
Saturday, April 6, 2013, after a courgeous battle with cancer.

Arlene was born August 14, 1928 in Grand Island, Nebraska.
During the Great Depression she and her parents, Raymond
and Ruby Nelson, moved to Tulelake, California,
ultimately setting in Mount Shasta when she was twelve.

During her high school years Arlene was proud to be a CSF honor student
and enjoyed babysitting and working at the local movie theater.

On December 14, 1946, Arlene married Richard “Fuzz” Baldi of
McCloud, where they settled and raised their family for 34 years.

Arlene was a loving homemaker, a wonderful cook, as well as an
innovative and creative decorator. She worked at Floyd’s Pharmacy,
then Dr. Larsen’s office for many years, where she was known for
her gentleness and kindness in caring for patients.

With the closing of the McCloud mill, Arlene and Fuzz moved
to Anderson, California. She continued her gift of compassion for
other while working at Dr. Drayton’s office in Redding. In 2002,
Arlene became involved in her church, enjoyed many days with
her Bunco girlfriends and cherished her times with her children
and grandchildren.

Arlene was a loving and generous mother and grandmother. She
will be tenderly missed by her son, Bruce, and his wife Janine;
daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Cheryl, Ruth, Joseph, Melissa, and
Tristina; and great-grandchildren John, Loren, Colton, Vanessa,
Drake, Kyle and Cole.

Arlene requested to be cremated and her ashes joined with her
husbands during a private family service.
