Shawn served in the US Navy and it was there that he met and married the love of his life Tammie. Shawn was a devoted and involved husband, father and friend.

He enjoyed traveling wood working, riding his quad, climbing, fishing, boating, water sports, helping others and just being active.

Shawn always had a smile and friendly hello for any he passed and is remembered for his sense of humor and always having a good time with his friends. He immensely enjoyed working with his Caltrans family for the last 12 years and he was on the job doing what he loved when we lost him.

Shawn was very proud of his children and their accomplishments and was a loving caring man who will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Services will be held on Friday, May 3 at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mount Shasta.
