The 2013 Knights Pee Wee and Mitey-Mites teams are scheduled to play three Saturdays in a row at Weed High School.
The Siskiyou Knights are scheduled to play the first of three consecutive Saturday games Sept. 14 at Weed High School.
Fielding two teams in 2013, the Knights lost their Pee Wee and Mitey-Mites openers Sept. 7 in Klamath Falls against the Ducks.
Pee Wees head coach Brandon Cordes said his team missed some tackles and made other "green" mistakes in their first game of the season.
Jake Peterson scored two touchdowns and Kayden Crisci scored one.
"That's about as many touchdowns as we scored all last year," said Cordes. "I'm happy we're going in the right direction. That's all we can ask for."
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the Knights Mitey-Mites are scheduled to host the Klamath Falls Yellow Jackets at 10 a.m., while the Pee Wees will host the Beavers at noon.
The Knights are also scheduled to play at Weed High School Sept. 21 and 28.
Assisting Cordes with the Pee Wee team are defensive coordinator Dave Kindely, special teams coach Mike Smith, linebackers coach Robert Richardson, and JP Pearson, who is helping with the offensive line.
Pee Wees players are: Andrew Alves, Eric Avila, Neeko Barnaby, Adam Boyer, Levi Collier, Amiree Collins, George Cook, Brandon Cordes Jr., Kayden Crisci, Phillip Gunther, Dominick Hall, Ryan Ketchum, Cole Kindely, Lane Kindely, Donovan Lafortune, Jack Lindler, Jackson May, Byron Mathes, Andrew Matthews, Horatio Maumasi, Steel Pearson, Jake Petersen, and Hunter Smith.
