Victor E. Penserini, 75, died on March 15, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. Vic was born on February 11, 1939 in Mount Shasta, California to Sabatino and Audrey Penserini.

Vic worked for the Record Searchlight before starting his own business delivering mail for the United States Postal Service.

Vic spent most of his Saturday nights for more than 20 years at Anderson Speedway as number 9 “Too Vicious.” He loved working on his race cars and the competition every Saturday night.

He was the neighborhood mechanic and would help out anyone who needed a hand with their car. He loved playing golf and was a huge University of Arizona men’s basketball fan.

Vic is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jannis; son, Mark; and two daughters, Dixie Underwood and Victoria Brendel. Vic also had five granddaughters; and one grandson.
