The Siskiyou Ice Rink is scheduled to open for its 2016-2017 season on Friday, Dec. 2. The season will run 12 weeks concluding on Sunday, Feb. 26.

The same anonymous donor who helped with the rink expansion donated $95,000 for chiller and Zamboni repairs in early November. Trane HVAC Corporation of Rocklin completed repairs on Nov. 18.

Weather issues delayed the making of ice, but ice-making is expected to conclude on Dec. 1.

Pre-season discounted pass sales will continue through December. Check the rink website at www.siskiyourink.org for more information on pricing and schedules.
