The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate the cause and manner of death, according to a May 5 Sheriff's Office new release.

Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office reported on May 5 that its investigators have identified the body found deceased in the Mt. Shasta area on May 4, 2017 as Kelli Renee Lefevre, 47, of Mount Shasta.

Detectives from the SCSO’s Major Crimes Unit have been investigating the case, according to a news release. “An autopsy has been performed, but the cause and manner of death in the case is still pending further investigation and the analysis of postmortem tests.”
