Dunsmuir city councilors unanimously voted, during a regular city council meeting Friday, to authorize a Task Force Committee to conduct a by-mail survey to inform citizens and collect and compile the data received regarding potential tax measures to deal with shortfalls in the general fund

Second suspect arrested for Dunsmuir assault

Denton Gene Lopez, age 19 of Montague, was arrested in Yreka at 10:50 a.m. on June 11 on a warrant charging him with assault with a deadly weapon and battery causing serious bodily injury, according to a Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Department report.
