While it rained in the city of Mount Shasta this week, snow fell continuously at the Mt. Shasta Ski Park. Powder skiers, like the one above on the Face run on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, had plenty of new snow to try their skills.
The Ski Park reported receiving a foot of new snow during the 24-hour period that ended early Friday morning. As of Friday morning, the Park reported a snow depth of 75" at the base and 135" on top.
The weekend forecast is calling for more precipitation on Saturday, then cloudy skies without precipitation Sunday.
