Dunsmuir museum -- Dunsmuir Railroad Depot Historical Society is in the process of re-establishing the Dunsmuir Museum, adjacent to its Railroad Display Room. Income tax preparation -- Jefferson Economic Development Institute operates a free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site through the IRS. Free tax preparation is available throughout Siskiyou County on a weekly basis through April 15, by appointment only.

Pie social -- Dunsmuir Railroad Depot Historical Society’s 2nd annual Pie Social fundraiser, 10 a.m. (until pies are gone), Amtrak Depot in Dunsmuir. Funds raised support the continued maintenance of the Depot.
Dogwood Daze of Dunsmuir -- Dunsmuir Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the planting of over 52 dogwood trees in Dunsmuir. Merchants will hold sidewalk sales and offer special attractions in costumes of Dogpatch. The chamber urges everyone to wear Dogpatch costumes of Daisy mae and Lil’ Abner.
