The McCloud Recreation Council is gearing up for this year’s Lumberjack Fiesta, scheduled for July 24-26 in McCloud.
The weekend will feature the annual Papa Anderson Softball Tournament, played again on two fields, the Harold Benedict Memorial Horseshoe Tournament, an American Legion breakfast, axe throw, watermelon eating contest and the popular Little Miss Fiesta and Little Logger Contest.
A parade on Main Street is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 25. Marci Benedict has been selected as this year's parade grand marshal.
Saturday is Kids Day and will feature lots of fun events for the youngsters.
