Dana Knight of Mount Shasta and Kaylee Pimentel of Montague took top honors at the KSYC Siskiyou Superstars Talent Show at the Siskiyou Golden Fair on Wednesday night, Aug. 12. The judges’ scores were tied, so the fair decided to award two first places.
It was unknown at press time which winner would travel to the California State Fair to represent the Siskiyou Golden Fair in the state talent competition.
Second place winner was Leif Elliott of Montague and third place went to Gayelynn Porter of Yreka.
The top winners each won $200, and the fair will pay for the $250 entry fee at the state contest.
