Carnevale parade grand marshals Kim Greene and Ronda Gubetta reported that this year’s event was a resounding success. For these two long time Carnevale organizers, this will be the last year that they serve as coordinators.
“Attendance was up for this year’s event, and it had a good overall feel to it,” said Gubetta, who added that she felt there were many new features this year that made it particularly satisfying.
Though both Greene and Gubetta say that they will continue to volunteer their services as “consultants”, it is time  to pass on the leadership role to a someone else.
Both reflected on their many successes over the past twelve years in charge, noting the addition of Jr. Bocce Ball as well as an enhanced music and entertainment program.
“We feel we did our part to make Carnevale just a little bit better,” said Gubetta.
