Paternal grandparents are Jamie and Del Tacbas of Mount Shasta.
Maternal grandparents are Linda Lock and Randy Gaschler, both of Placerville.

A daughter, Aaliyah Dawn, was born to Tiffany Knapp and Eddie Mendivil of Weed, at 3:15 a.m. on May 30, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Mount Shasta. Birthweight was 4 pounds, 7 ounces. Aaliyah Dawn joins big sister Shanacy.
