The City of Weed (hereinafter “City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide energy performance contracting services (hereinafter “Project”), and will received proposals in the Office of the City Clerk, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094 up to the hour of 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2017.

The City intends to select and award a contract to a qualified firm for the development and implementation of an energy efficiency program. It is the City’s intent to award this program to a firm with the demonstrated experience, competency, capacity, and qualified team members to implement a comprehensive, performance-based energy conservation project that includes energy audits, system design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and independent project financing. The awarded firm shall identify funding sources, including utility rebates, low-rate municipal lease financing, grants, and other applicable incentives to implement recommended energy efficiency projects.

The services to be performed by the successful proposer are described in the Request for Proposals. Copy of the RFP is available in the Office of the City Clerk, 550 Main Street, P.O. Box 470, Weed, CA 96094, or Sealed proposals may be submitted in person at Weed City Hall, or via U.S. Mail or express courier at the address above. Fax or email submittals will not be accepted.

All responsive proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the City in order to determine which proposer best meets the City’s needs for the Project.
