Said public hearing will be held to consider the formation of an assessment district (the “Assessment District”) and adoption of the Water Efficiency and Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) and Job Creation Program (FIGTREE PACE) pursuant to Chapter 29 of Part 3 of Division 7 of the California Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 5898.12). The Assessment District will be a voluntary contractual assessment district to assist property owners with the cost of installing distributed generation renewable energy sources and making permanently affixed energy efficient, seismic, and water efficient improvements to their property. The geographical boundaries of the Assessment District will now include the geographical boundaries of the City of Azusa, the City of Claremont, the City of Morro Bay, the City of Mount Shasta, the City of Nevada City, the City of Petaluma, and the City of Plymouth.

At the hearing, any person may present oral or written testimony. The Board of Directors will consider all objections or protests, if any, to the proposed (i) improvements, (ii) Assessment District boundaries, and (iii) Assessment District contractual assessment.
