The City Council of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, to consider the following:

1. Zoning code text amendment: The Planning Commission recommends amendment of the zoning code to clarify the definition of “building site” which currently requires access from a dedicated public right of way, and add a designation for alternative access requirements. The Planning Commission recommends option to require a private access easement as principle access to a parcel or building site.

The amendment(s) is expected to be found exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15061 of the CEQA Guidelines.

All interested persons are invited to attend and have the right to be heard on this and any other agenda item.
