PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Planning Commission of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, to consider the following:

1. Conditional Use Permit for establishing a residential use in an existing commercial building at 284 Main Street. The property is zoned Commercial and has a Commercial Center land use General Plan designation. Pursuant to the Zoning Code, residential uses are allowed in commercial zones provided a†Use Permit is obtained. This project will establish a live/work establishment with the primary use as residential and secondary use as commercial. The project is expected to be found exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines for “Existing Facilities.”

All interested persons are invited to attend and have the right to be heard on this and any other agenda item.

The application, staff report, and supporting documentation are on file at City Hall, and can be viewed on weekdays during business hours after December 18, 2017.
