The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Department reported that Edward Trent Zivot of McCloud, age 32, was arrested and booked into Siskiyou County Jail the morning of March 9, 2010, on numerous sexual abuse charges.
Charges include sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16 by a person over the age of 21, sexual intercourse with a minor with more than a three-year age difference, incest and lewd acts with a child under the age of 14 or 15 by a person 10 years older.
Zivot was released with an April court date.
The charges against Zivot, according to the Sheriff’s Department, stem from incidents which occurred over the past several years involving a Siskiyou County girl.
