Sisson seventh grader Rhianna Ramshaw raised $275 to purchase her school a cub mascot costume, which she wore for the first time at Wednesday’s game against Scott Valley. “I always liked the idea of dressing up as a big furry animal,” she said.

After many years of going without, Sisson has a new cub mascot.

Seventh grader Rhianna Ramshaw said she’s always loved mascots, and decided to raise money to purchase one for her school.

The mascot cost $275. Those who contributed funds include Nancy and Tom Driscoll, Sandi Sullivan, Penny and Grif Bloodhart, Michael Pautz, Doug Carter, Diana and Lance Wood, Boyce and Bette Ahlport and Loraine and Robb Ramshaw.
