The winner of the 2001 Mount Shasta Fourth of July t-shirt contest will be announced live on the radio Tuesday morning.
Siskiyou Arts Council executive director Lauri Sturdivant said she’ll announce the winner at 8 a.m. on KCWH-FM radio, (99.3 in Mt. Shasta and 101.7 in Yreka).
Almost 300 people came to the Siskiyou Arts Council Gallery & Cultural Center over the past week to cast their vote on their favorite design from the 26 that were submitted.
The winner will receive $500 and have their design on all the t-shirts which are given away at the event. The second place winner will receive $200, Sturdivant said.
