Storm clears, sun shines, fresh snow at Ski Park

The recent rains in the city covered the Mt. Shasta Ski Park with snow. The last storm put two feet on the Park. As of Saturday morning, Feb. 27, the Park reports 132 inches of snow at the top of Coyote lift and 70 inches at the base.

The recent rains in the city of Mount Shasta meant new snow for the Mt. Shasta Ski Park. The last storm added two feet at the Park, which reported 132 inches of snow at the top of Coyote lift and 70 inches at the base. The Ski Park is scheduled to host the 2010 California Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation high school championships March 7 to 11, featuring many racers from Siskiyou County competing against the best in two states.
