Siskiyou County Clerk Colleen Setzer announces a series of Town Hall meetings to be held throughout Siskiyou County during late August and early September.
As the Nov. 2 General Election is nearing, these educational meetings will focus on various aspects of the voting process, including registering to vote, voting through the mail, how to vote for a write-in candidate, and how to ensure your vote is counted.
Town hall meetings
• Aug. 31 – 1 to 3 p.m., Scout Hall, 405 E. Colombero Drive, McCloud.
• Sept. 7 – 5:30 to 7 p.m., Yreka Armory, 1710 Fairlane Road, Yreka.
• Sept. 9 – 5:30 to 7 p.m., Mount Shasta City Park, recreation center, 1315 Nixon Road, Mount Shasta.
• Sept. 16 – 3 to 4:30 p.m., Lake Shastina Community Services District, 16320 Everhart Drive, Lake Shastina.
• Sept. 16 – 5:30 to 7 p.m., Weed City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed.
