Betty Jane (Salaun) Facey passed away December 12, 2016 at Feather River Hospital in Paradise, California.
Betty was born to Edward Louis and Lenora Ethel (Markey) Salaun on November 25, 1932 at San Joaquin General at French Camp, California.
Betty married the love of her life Paul Melvin Facey on December 24, 1950 at her parents home in Acampo, California. Betty and Melvin were married for 61 years till his passing in 2012.
Betty and Melvin resided in Lodi, California till 1953 when they moved to McCloud, California and made their home.
Betty was employed by McCloud River Lumber Company in the local store, Bank of America and McCloud River Railroad later known as McCloud River Railway from which she retired.
In her younger years, she and Melvin were always enjoying life to the fullest. They belonged to the Squaw Valley Riding Club in McCloud and enjoyed riding their horses not only for pleasure but in parades around the area. They also enjoyed boating, water skiing, fishing, their motorhome, camping and most of all visiting and partying with their family and friends.
She is and will be missed by her many relatives and friends who will hold her close to their hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life to be held at Etna City park on June 30, 2017 from 12pm to 4pm. Bring your chairs.
