Christopher Kellar, born May 27, 1980, in Rio Hondo, California, passed away on September 21, 2017, in Weed, California. His death was caused by a vehicle accident. He was 37 years old.
Chris moved to Siskiyou County with his family when he was one year old, and resided in the area throughout the remainder of his life.
He worked as a transportation and delivery supervisor for a local food distributing company.
Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, Casey and Joshua in 1982; and his grandfather, James Crowell in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Alisha Kellar; sons, Michael and Jacob; parents, Ray and Linda Kellar; sister, Tiffany Kellar; and grandparents, Jerry and Mary Kellar and Betty Crowell.
He will be remembered for his involvement with Siskiyou Youth Sports, local men’s softball, and for his work as a volunteer in his community.
He enjoyed both coaching and playing softball, and above all, spending time with his family and his children.
Memorial contributions can be made to a trust for his children, Michael and Jacob Kellar, through the Tri Counties Bank in Mount Shasta, California.
