Tressa Rosecrantz passed away at her home in Mount Shasta with her family by her side on February 27, 2018. She was 78 years old.

Born in Dunsmuir and a graduate of Mount Shasta High School in 1957, she was a lifelong Siskiyou County resident, with the exception of the 18 months she served in the Air Force, training in Biloxi, Mississippi, and then serving in Syracuse, New York, as a radar plotter. She went on to attend College of the Siskiyous and work for many years as a secretary in the finance industry.

She is survived by Chuck, her husband of 55 years, and their three children: Toni Watson (son-in-law Kevin) of Yuba City, John Rosecrantz (daughter-in-law Lisa) of Yuba City, and Tami Lynn Mannix (son-in-law Kevin), of Hanford, California. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Ashley, Morgan, Danny, Tori, Connor, and Kyle.

A member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, she was a voracious reader and loved riding horses. She will be remembered for her laugh that would fill a room.

A rosary will take place at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 11:30, followed by a Catholic Mass at 12:00, with burial to follow at Mount Shasta Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
