November 3, 1932 – June 18, 2018
Opera lover, photographer, pilot, sailor, woodworker, and most of all, family man, Mario Tarabini passed away in Sunnyvale, California. Mario was born in Weed, California to Louis and Stella Tarabini. After graduating with a Master’s degree from Santa Clara University, Mario worked as a Project Manager at Lockheed for more than 30 years.
Known for his love of food (including his famous Rosemary Chicken with Polenta, and Crab Cioppino), a family get-together at his home was always a treat!
Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Rosalie Tarabini, and sister Rena Rossi. Survived by his children Darius, Lisa Fraser (Chris), Marc, Laura, John (Sharol), Maria (Don), 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Children always held a special place in Mario’s heart and he was known as an “honorary Grandpa” to many in his long-time neighborhood. He will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Sunday, August 5th.
