Melodee Sue Bell was born on August 3, 1956 in Loveland, CO. and passed away on September 1, 2018 at home in Mt. Shasta, CA. after battling cancer for many years.
Melodee was the eighth of ten children. She is survived by her companion, David Davies, sons, Robert Bell (Sharon) of Las Vegas, NV, Richard Bell (Claudia) of Riverside, CA; one grandchild Ethan Bell.
Melodee is also survived by three brothers, Michael Jenson (Carol), David Jenson (Rosa), Pat Jenson (Denise) and two sisters, Roxanna Thomas (John) and Judi Goulart (Frank) and three aunts, Darlene Wortman, Elizabeth Bliemeister, Shirley Bliss, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Jenson and mother, Esther Jenson, brothers, Jack Jenson, William Jenson, Jim Jenson and sister, Rochelle Lukas.
Melodee moved to Mt. Shasta eight years ago in 2010 and immediately became involved at St. Anthony Catholic Church where she spent most days volunteering. Melodee was a servant of God and that brought her much joy and peace.
Melodee loved fishing, camping, the beach and lived life to the fullest. She especially had a deep love for all animals. Melodee spread joy everywhere she went with her laughter and smiles.
May Melodee rest in peace in the arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
There will be a memorial service for Melodee on October 12, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church located at 507 Pine St. in Mt. Shasta beginning with a rosary at 11:30 a.m., memorial mass at noon and a luncheon directly following at St. Anthony’s Hall. Final resting place Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, CA.
