Elsie Helen Willman, a resident of Redding, passed away at her son’s residence in Dunsmuir on February 27, 2010, following a short illness. She was 83 years old.
Elsie was born in Oak Run, California on June 14, 1926. She moved to Redding from Dunsmuir 28 years ago.
Elsie worked as a motel manager before her retirement. She enjoyed krafts, gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her son, William Willman and his wife Tonya, of Dunsmuir; daughters, Elaine Strange and Terry Neal, both of Redding; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Willman.
“She will be missed by all of us. We love you mom.”
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 5 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Burial is at Mt. Shasta Memorial Park.
