Antonio “Tony” Cansino was born May 2, 1960 in Etna, California and passed away January 9, 2010 in Livermore, California.
Tony was a graduate of Mount Shasta High School. He created Cansino Electric, Inc. located in Pleasanton, California, and was the owner and president for 17 years.
As an employer, he went to great lengths to ensure that his employees had a compensation package that assured them of a good standard of living. He was a member of Pleasanton Rotary and he sponsored multiple sports teams in the Livermore area.
He was still very much in love with his wife, Cristi Cansino, and also proud of his 25 year marriage.
He adored his sons, Zane and Myles. He volunteered hundreds of hours to the many sports groups in which his sons were involved.
Tony is survived by his wife, Cristi Cansino; sons, Zane and Myles; mother, Marilyn Birkett; step-father, Norman Birkett; mother in law, Carlene Burnett; father in law, Travis Burnett; siblings, Cathy Cansino, Kitty Cansino, Celesta Cansino, Carmen Cansino, Caroline Cansino, and Cristina Cansino; and many more relatives and friends.
Words cannot express our loss of Tony, sweet husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an intelligent, kind, generous and dynamic human being — a true light in our lives and the lives of those with whom he came in contact. Dearest Tony, you will be missed greatly by all of us.
