John Poultney was born on January 15, 1933 in Dunsmuir, California and went to the Lord on March 1, 2010. He was 77 years old.
John proudly served his country in the US Army serving during the Korean War.
He moved to Mount Shasta to retire in 1996. He loved spending time with family and friends, being outdoors boating on Shasta Lake, and quad riding.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; and his children and their families, Terri Denman of Mount Shasta, California, Susan Poultney of Redding, California, Sabrina Cave of Boise, Idaho, and Sharon McLaughlin of Redding, California.
John was grandpa to seven grandchildren, Amanda, Eric, Katherine, Jon, Mathew, Megan and Steven; and great-grandpa to Kyler.
John loved his family and friends and will be sorely missed but forever in our hearts.
