Lucille Lois Hewitt, a resident of McCloud, passed away of natural causes on February 11, 2010 at Mercy Care Center in Mount Shasta. She was 81 years old.
Lucille was born in Kankakee, Kansas on May 15, 1928. She moved to Siskiyou County from Anaheim in 1985.
Lucille worked as an electronics assembler for Rockwell International before her retirement.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce Hewitt of Placerville and Kenneth Hewitt of McCloud; daughters, Norma Held of Pflugerville, Texas and Janet Curnutt of Corona; brothers, Robert Rasmussen of Mellen, Wisconsin and William Rasmussen of St. Charles, Missouri; sister, Luella Hewitt of Anchorage, Alaska; and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Howe officiating. Burial is at Mt. Shasta Memorial Park.
Arrangements were made by Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel.
